they only had ONE, I repeat, ONE bicycle seat cover, and it is just baaaarrely too small. BARELY. as in, won't cover by HALF AN INCH. DB< I cut it cuz I was sure it would fit, and now it just BARELY doesn't fit. DX and I cut it so I can't take it back. I'm mad about it.

also, I went back for more gold paint, and they had the brand and everything but not the color. the guy says it's probably discontinued. WHAT? DX I got it from k-mart with dad, they only had two shades of gold, so I got this. wal mart had tons of gold in all different shades and some were more accurate than this one was. ]B> but I already got most of it done and I don't wanna have to do all that over, cuz usually the more paint you add the thicker it gets and it starts getting weird after a while, and I am NOT gonna sand it all back off.

it seems to be just BARELY a shade lighter, and I can't tell yet how well it'll match. :/ being poor bites man, there's so much crap you gotta deal with cuz you can't buy all the extra shit. like primer, and top-coat gloss, and sanding equipment, and seat covers that actually fit.

oh, and they stopped selling the handlebar brakes too so I can't add those. D<

luckily though, all that's left to do in gold is just the rims and I was gonna do the bar under the seat but like, meh. if I can just get the rims to look right it'll be okay. they're done in the first gold on one side and the second gold on the other side. :/ I gotta wait until they dry to see if they blend in together, or maybe just spray the other side over in the second gold so it'll be the same on both sides.

argh.

I'm really worried I'll mess something up completely. :/ I've got nobody to help me do this, I'm doing it all by myself. :\
